I’ve been hesitant about getting a bodysuit for a while as I was afraid they would fit me weird and highlight my not so favorite parts of my stomach. Recently I went into Forever 21 looking for some more in my budget clothes (jk, petition to make all shirts $5 and all bottoms $10), and I picked up this bodysuit on my way to the register. Out of all the clothes I’ve acquired this summer, I have to say this is one of my favorite pieces. First off I love the off the shoulder style, it just makes my feel so girly. One of the main reasons why I didn’t want to buy a bodysuit is my fear of feeling like I was wearing a onesie, but honestly it just feels like you’re wearing a really well fitting top. This skirt is one of my older pieces, but I thought it was simple enough to match the top, yet bold enough to make this outfit a little more interesting. My twin sister actually made the chocker I’m wearing out of an old tie. I’m attempting to dive into print mixing and I think this was a subtle, but effective start. The print on the skirt is simple, while the one on the chocker is a little more exciting.

Helpful tip: black and white outfits are easier to style as you can match nearly any color with them (maybe not brown, but hey it’s your choice), the simplest way to add color is through accessories, in my opinion at least.

Anyways, I’m going to end this post because sometimes when I type these, I sound like I’m writing for a really bad fashion magazine that your mom reads at the doctor’s office.
