OOTD
Shirt: Brandy Melville, New York Shorts: H&M , Tights: Probably from middle school, Shoes: Soda

Good news: Today is the first day of October

Bad News: I’m terrible at managing money and have none to spend on new fall outfits.

Today I decided to use some of my summer pieces and mix them with my fall ones. The top is from Brandy Melville, unlike most of their clothes that are made with 2 threads, this one is very thick and great quality. The print is houndstooth in a checked pattern. I love the cut of the top its a perfect length and classy in style. Since it was far too cold on the east coast to wear shorts by themselves I paired these tailored, almost neoprene shorts over sheer black tights. Tights and knee high socks are my go to’s during autumn and winter.

I paired this outfit with some chunky, block heeled booties. These are my favorite shoes for fall, they are comfortable, give me some height, and best of all, were very affordable ($25). I wanted to keep this look minimal so I didn’t add any accessories besides my earrings and kept the colors muted. The navy blue and black is a lil questionable, but I’m broke so I’m working with what I’ve got. I hope everyone had a lovely October day (a.k.a the computer generated people that are forced to view my blog every time I post).
